           I have been collecting quotes for a couple of decades. In the year 2000, I found the following inspirational writing on a shopping bag. I do not know who the author was. I would like to take this opportunity to share it with you after 24 years of collection. Enjoy!

           This article is dedicated to those who have lost their loved ones, including their beloved pets.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           On the eve of St. Valentine's Day, my husband and I said goodbye to our doggie, Casino, who lived just a bit more than 16 years (2006 - 2023). Even though it was very heart-breaking and sad, we managed to face the reality and end his suffering by putting him to sleep.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Strange enough, during a guided meditation in late April this year, I heard a dog's barking. Originally, I assumed it was from background sound of the recording. However, I listened to it two more times, there was no voice of any dog. Therefore, I could confirm that it was my dog, Casino, coming through to say hello during my meditated state.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Another instance, it just happened a few days ago. I was boiling water for my bedtime tea. After emptying the boiled water from the pot, I saw some remaining water bubbling forming some sort of shape at the bottom of the pot. It was getting late at night. I was a bit tired. Somehow, intuitively and curiously, I went to see what it was. So, after a few minutes when the pot dried up by itself, I took a snapshot of it, thinking to see the picture when I got up first thing the next morning. I was very touched to see my dog's image appearing in the photo. Here is the

           The loved one passing over to the other side, somehow, would find ways to let us know they are still here. They miss us as much as we miss them. I am sure one day I will see my dog, Casino, again.

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           Grieving and recovering take time. Please rest assured there are signs everywhere to help us ease the journey of healing. But we will reach there, in peace, one day.

           It all starts with the abbreviation "How."

           There is a saying "Curiosity killed the cat." I disagree. It motivates and inspires you to find out the truth---why and how.
          &#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I have been an associate member of the American Federation of Astrologers since July 2020. I peruse its regular issues of Today's Astrologer at leisure. In early July, the lunation chart of New Moon (astrological) for July 17, 2023, caught my attention. There is a symbol called "How" on the casted chart. I was perplexed and very curious about it.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Since "How" is conjunct with my natal birth chart MC (Medium Coeli or Midheaven) and Sun &amp;amp; Mercury in the 9th house, the ninth house in astrology is about publishing, broadcasting, promotion, philosophy, law, religion. higher learning and foreign travel, cultures and languages plus expansion and understanding the meaning and larger issues in life. I was intrigued and even more interested in finding out its meaning in astrology. So, I asked an online private Star Family that I am in to see if anyone knew what "How" means in astrology. The host of the group, Divine Harmony, replied if it is mentioned in the article.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           That prompted me to ask the executive secretary, Celeste Nash-Weninger, of AFA. She kindly replied that she forgot to remove it when casting the lunation chart. It is an asteroid called Howardmoore. Mystery solved. I asked her if she could send me the article associated with it. The rest is history.
